Corona, Chapter 1

A COLD day to paint - snow pants, down jacket, and hat required. Just one mile from home Cathance Stream crosses under the road, beautiful even in early spring when the snow lingers on the banks and the only color comes from the red osher dogwood in the distance. When we moved here ten years ago I caught an 18” landlocked salmon behind the rock in the foreground using a #8 hook and a worm. Sheer luck!
